CUSTOMER PROJECT: BUSINESS AREA ROLLING MILLS AND STRIP PROCESSING LINES
In the production of steel and stainless steel, the efficient use of raw materials and reduction of emissions from production processes play an important role. The acid recovery and regeneration systems developed by the Andritz Rolling Mills and Strip Processing Lines Business Area allow almost complete recovery of used pickling acids. Also, Andritz has developed technologies to substantially reduce the emissions of NOx in waste gas streams from furnaces and pickling lines.
