The Group's activities are focused in five business areas; for each of these business areas the ANDRITZ GROUP is among the global market leaders in various segments:

HYDRO

Electromechanical systems (in particular turbines and generators) and services for new hydropower stations, as well as for modernization of existing hydropower stations; pumps; turbo generators.

PULP & PAPER

Plants and services for the production of all types of pulp (chemical, mechanical, recycled fiber pulps), paper, tissue paper, board, medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and nonwovens; biomass boilers and gasifiers for energy production.

METALS

Plants for the production and further processing of cold-rolled carbon steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metal strip; industrial furnaces.

ENVIRONMENT & PROCESS

Plants, equipment, and services for mechanical and thermal solid/liquid separation for municipalities (e.g. sewage sludge treatment) and specialized industries (e.g. mining or food industry).

FEED & BIOFUEL

Plants, equipment, and services for the industrial production of animal feed and biomass pellets (particularly wood pellets).
